Kids Hope Australia

Kids Hope Australia is a national program facilitated by World Vision, where by a local state primary school and a local Christian church forge a partnership to provide at-risk children (identified by the school) with life changing relationships.

The Kids Hope Australia mission is to simply build caring relationships…. One child, one hour, one church, one school.

CCCLiVE.TV will be launching Kids Hope Australia in a local state school in July 2010. Trained, caring mentors from CCCLiVE.TV will provide one-to-one mentoring and affirmation for one child, for one hour each a week.

We believe that our mentors don’t give up an hour a week, they invest an hour a week into the life of a child, and that ultimately, they play a part in giving hope, and changing the life of that child, their family, and our community!

“To the world you might be one person, but to one person, one child, you might be the world”. This statement is seen first hand and time and time again by the individuals currently involved in the Kids Hope Australia programs all ready running in over 300 primary schools around Australia.

For each child / mentor relationship which will be developed, a prayer partner is also involved, praying that the relationship between the mentor and the child would grow and develop.

Religious Education (R.E.) in Schools

In Matthew 28:19 we are commanded to “Go then and make disciples”.  We have an incredible opportunity here on the Gold Coast to “Go” – across the street, into our suburbs, and into the classrooms of our state schools to teach our children about Jesus!

CCCCLiVE.TV supports the RE Teachers in our congregation as they share the good news to a generation in training.

You too can be a part of sharing Jesus with these children (perhaps these Bible centred lessons are the only time they will hear of God’s love for them!). No experience is required, and free training, easy to follow curriculum and full support is offered.

Life Reach Projects

“Life Reach” Projects are projects undertaken by our Life Groups and CCCLiVE.TV where we practically love our city. They are intentional acts of kindness and service to those in our community.

Life Groups will be taking part in Life Reach Projects regularly throughout the year, so make sure you are apart of a Life Group, and don’t miss out on your chance to love and serve our city!
