As a Church, CCCLiVE.TV values very highly the amazing opportunities we have here in our nation to love and serve the children within our state schools. As the school term recommences shortly, I wanted to highlight one of the opportunities that we have to serve in this area.

R.E.

Religious Instruction allows us the extraordinary opportunity to share the gospel within our classrooms and reach children who may never otherwise hear about God or understand the true message of Jesus.

Church volunteers of all ages are welcome and needed to serve both as RE teachers and helpers, having incredible impact on individual lives and school communities.

No experience is required, training is provided, and there is great support through the RE Network here on the Coast. New RE volunteers are partnered with experienced RE Teachers to ensure they are looked after and gain their confidence.

CCCLiVE.TV will supply curriculum resources where required to help our RE Teachers navigate their first steps into local schools.

Training sessions for new (and experienced RE Teachers) will take place next week, the closest one to Burleigh being held as follows:

Tuesday 24th January

Trinity Anglican Mission (Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina)

9.15am – Midday OR 1.00pm – 3.30pm

For more information, and alternative training dates, contact the CCCLiVE.TV office (5593 5277), or speak to Helene McCowan (RE Co-operative Coordinator) on 5539 4374.

You might also like to speak to one of our current RE Teachers - I'm sure they would love to encourage you to be part of this vital mission outreach!

Check out this AV from those who served in RE last year…..

The door is open for us to “go” (Matthew 28:19) so lets do it!
